Stacy has been a dental assistant with our practice for 18 years, after obtaining her medical assisting degree from ETI Technical College in 1998. Stacy loves caring for patients. She believes in treating patients how she would want to be treated, maintaining oral health and improving smiles. “I find my job very rewarding in that we can help people in many impactful ways,” Stacy says.
Stacy and her husband, Dean, have two children, Amanda and Drew. Stacy likes to spend time with her family and friends, camping, and Tim McGraw music. She even had her picture taken with him!
Michelle has been a registered dental hygienist for over 15 years, spending 13 of those at our office. She obtained an associate degree in dental hygiene from Stark State College in 2002. When asked what she likes most about her job, Michelle says she loves seeing her regular patients and trying to make a difference in their lives. Michelle subscribes to a family approach for her care philosophy. “I strive to treat my patients the same way I treat my family. I try to be understanding and communicate effectively,” Michelle says.
Michelle is married with two children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, attending her children’s sporting events, and riding bikes on the Towpath. Most do not know that Michelle’s great grandfather played professional baseball for the St. Louis Browns. She also has ten years of piano experience in her background.
Connee is our veteran registered dental hygienist. She has been with our practice for over 36 years, after graduating from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a certificate in dental hygiene. Connee enjoys educating patients so that they may improve their dental health, and in turn, improve their overall health. According to Connee’s care philosophy, she believes all patients should be treated like she treats her family. What may work for one patient may not be the best option for another. “Each day is a new adventure. I like the ever-changing technology in the dental field,” Connee says.
Connee has been married to Bob for 35 years and the couple has two daughters, as well as five grandchildren. In her free time, Connee likes to spend time with her grandchildren, read, sew, listen to country music and help with church activities.
Tatiana has been a dental assistant and part of our front desk staff for over two years now. Earning a Bachelor of Science and an associate degree in medical assisting, Tatiana enjoys being able to learn on a daily basis about the dental field and our practice. She absolutely loves interacting with patients and shares her philosophy with them: “If you treat yourself well, you will look and feel well. Dental care is of the utmost importance to your overall well-being.” Tatiana likes working at our office because her coworkers have become a wonderful extension of her family.
Tatiana is married to her husband, Jeffrey, and they have a son, Brandon. Outside of work, Tatiana likes to hike, ride bikes, garden, cook, cook and cook! She has traveled to many countries and speaks Greek. Tatiana’s favorite song is “If I Had A Million Dollars.”
Jana has been our receptionist for 13 years. A graduate of Massillon High School and Valdosta State College, Jana lived in Georgia for several years before returning to Ohio. Her favorite part of working at our office is the relationships she has formed with our patients. She truly enjoys sharing friendship with patients and staff. Jana says, “Dr. B is awesome! And our staff is the best!”
Jana has been married to her husband, Val, for 15 years and they have a very active blended family, which includes seven children, their spouses and ten grandchildren. Many may recognize Jana’s son, Matt Lanter, who starred in Timeless on NBC, 90210 on The CW, and was also the voice of Anakin Skywalker. Jana and her husband love spending time outside with friends and family, taking time to enjoy their pontoon boat, hot tub, and Harley.
Dr. Larry Brandau graduated from Hoover High School in 1972. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from The Ohio State University in 1976, followed by graduation from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1979.
Dr. Brandau has lived his entire life in Ohio. He has spent most of his time in North Canton, having moved there in 1969, when his father became the school superintendent. Dr. Brandau chose the field of dentistry because it gave him the opportunity to combine his great desire to help people in the health industry with his natural love and talent for building and creating with his hands.
Dr. Brandau and his wife, Pat (Lutz), who were high school sweethearts, recently celebrated 43 years of marriage. Their daughter and son-in-law reside in the Fort Worth, Texas area with their two young daughters. They have established a dental practice in the area. Dr. Brandau's son, who is also a dentist, and daughter-in-law own dental practices in Port Charlotte and Cape Haze, Florida.
In addition to traveling, spending time with family, Dr. Brandau enjoys farming, carpentry, photography and jewelry making.
